34TH ANNUAL VIRTUAL GALA
Unbroken Thread
FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2024 | 7PM CST
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON FRIDAY, APRIL 26 AT 3PM CST.
From operating a multilingual 24-hour crisis line, to providing rental subsidies for survivor families, to organizing youth leaders, we’ve been providing culturally and linguistically-sensitive services and engaging our community at the grassroots level for the last 34 years. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue providing the best services possible for our clients and to build strong community support for survivors through education and engagement.
Unbroken Thread comes from our new art healing program in collaboration with Miss Asian Chicago contestant, Sona Kim, and former Miss Chinese Chicago contestant, Mia Hitterman. As participants weave their unique immigrant stories together, their clothing items are re-woven into artwork that represents the resilience of sisterhood. Unbroken Thread speaks to the ties that connect us and our commitment to creating a strong fabric of care for one another.
